I’m Felisha Lubin, Founder and CEO of Cake by the Pound — a veteran-owned, home-based bakery serving up Southern comfort and sweetness, one slice at a time.
After 28 years of service in the U.S. Air Force, I traded my uniform for an apron — but I still serve with precision, pride, and purpose. Every pound cake I bake carries a story, a smile, and a sprinkle of love straight from my heart (and my Granny’s recipe box ).
Whether it’s Sweet Potato with Cognac Icing or Classic Pound cake, my cakes are baked the old-fashioned way — with real ingredients, deep roots, and a whole lotta soul.
